Justice Minister Akın Gürlek said 85 suspects have been arrested and 206 people processed in Türkiye’s capital markets “fund investigation,” adding that five people have returned money to accounts held by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund, which does not mean their cases will be closed. He said work had begun to bring back assets taken to Switzerland and that institutions would also be examined if negligence or ill intent is found, while stressing that “the Turkish market and Turkish economy are very strong.”
