Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan shared his views on the Strait of Hormuz, Israel, and regional tensions in an interview with Korean broadcaster JTBC.
Fidan warned that if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed for several more months, some African countries could indeed face food shortages.
The minister also expressed his belief that Israel does not consider any agreement between the US and Iran to be in its interests. He added that Israel is doing everything it can to sabotage this process.
Fidan emphasized that the international community should pressure Israel to act more cautiously when it comes to peace negotiations.
In the interview, Fidan argued that Israel believes its past experience of the Holocaust grants it a form of immunity, viewing itself as an exceptional case.
