A handgun found in a toilet at a school building in Istanbul’s Küçükçekmece district, shared by a science and arts center and a vocational training center, belonged to a vice principal working at the school.

According to a police report, a parent who came to pick up their child on September 26 found the gun hanging on a hook behind a stall door. The vice principal was suspended and an administrative investigation was launched into why the weapon was brought to the school and left in an area used by students.
