Türkiye’s Fund Coordination Board held its second meeting under Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, reviewing the method for calculating net investment amounts under the Capital Markets Board’s September 30 decisions, as well as secondary regulations and the timetable for payments to fund investors.

The board instructed relevant institutions to finalize a draft amendment to the Capital Markets Law and stressed that the regulations should not impose an additional burden on citizens. It said work to resolve the problems in the fund market would continue quickly and fairly.

Investors in funds under liquidation are to receive interim payments of up to 1 million lira per fund, based on net investment amounts determined by the Central Registry Agency.
