He killed his wife with wood in Gümüşhane
It was reported that Halis Pekin in Torul district of Gümüşhane killed his wife Arzu Pekin by beating her with wood and fled with his truck.
At around 14:15 today in the Değirmen yanı area of the Torul district center in Gümüşhane, an argument broke out between Halis Pekin (27) and his wife Arzu Pekin (26) in the area where wood was stacked in front of their house. It was reported that the argument quickly escalated and Halis Pekin killed his wife Arzu Pekin by beating her with wood. After the incident, Pekin fled the area with his own truck. After the escape, the truck used by the suspect was found abandoned on the Gümüşhane-Trabzon highway outside the district. Security forces started a capture operation in the area. The lifeless body of Arzu Pekin was taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy after the investigation at the scene.
