Significant developments have emerged in the international investigation into the killing of Hells Angels member Davide K. in Cologne, Germany. The hitman was caught in the Netherlands, and the planner was detained in Antalya.
The incident began in the Ostheim district of Cologne in December 2024. Hells Angels members demanded 100,000 euros in extortion from Davide K., a German citizen nicknamed 'Dauda.' When he refused, they first sprayed his home with heavy weapons, then firebombed his car. Davide K., who survived the attacks unharmed, said in a video he filmed in front of his home: 'My house was shot at 28 times with an AK-47. Then my car was bombed. I take this calmly.'
About two months after this video, Davide K. was attacked with a gun outside a gym. A person on an electric scooter wearing a ski mask approached Davide K. from behind as he got into his car and fired repeatedly with a Kalashnikov from a backpack. Davide K., who was hit by two bullets in the body, died after being taken to the hospital. The attacker fled the scene.
Police determined that the hitman located the target thanks to Davide K. sharing his real-time location on social media. Security camera footage identified the attacker, who then fled to the Netherlands after the murder. The hitman, who was caught in an operation in the Netherlands last month, confessed that he received the murder order from Turkey.
Following the suspect's confessions, Dutch police contacted Turkish authorities. Teams from the Antalya Police Department, evaluating information from German and Dutch police, detained Yücel U., who is alleged to have planned the murder, in a raid on his home the day before yesterday. Yücel U. denied the charges.
Meanwhile, efforts have been launched to capture Hasan O., nicknamed 'Napoleon,' who is alleged to be the instigator of the murder and has been wanted by Interpol with a Red Notice since 2019. Hasan O. was previously wanted in connection with the killing of a motorcycle gang member in Denmark.
