Iran responds to Trump's statements: 'Comments about the deal are purely speculative'
Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Bekayi stated that no final agreement has been reached in the negotiation process with the US, describing US President Donald Trump's remarks about the deal as "pure speculation." Bekayi reiterated that Trump's statements are speculative.
Iranian media published Bekayi's comments on the negotiation process with the US. Bekayi noted that Qatar and Pakistan have played active roles in the diplomatic process with the US. Trump claimed Iran approved the deal: "The signing ceremony will be announced soon."
Bekayi pointed out that most of the agreement text emerging from the negotiations has been completed, but the process has not concluded due to the US's constant changes in stance. He stated that Iran has not yet reached a final conclusion on the deal. Bekayi said, "The issues raised by US President Trump regarding the agreement are speculative and not yet finalized."
