Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi made important statements at the Administration Information Council meeting held in Tehran.
At the meeting, Arakchi assessed recent developments in foreign policy and international relations, and stated that the US had repeatedly violated its commitments after the nuclear deal and continued its military aggression against Iran.
Arakchi also touched on developments after the memorandum of understanding to end the war signed in Islamabad, and gave information about consultations with Oman to manage maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.
The Minister stated that the Foreign Ministry intensified diplomatic efforts to advance the country's highest interests under the guidance of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mücteba Khamenei and the directives of the Supreme National Security Council, and asserted that the media is part of the war imposed by the US-Israel against Iran.
Arakchi added that the media "plays an extremely vital role in presenting the true narrative of the holy defense of the Iranian nation against the enemy's brutal aggression and in preserving and strengthening national unity and solidarity."
