Iraq's state oil company SOMO announced that oil revenues in April exceeded 1 billion dollars. According to SOMO's report, Iraq's total crude oil exports in April surpassed 9.88 million barrels. These exports were carried out from oil fields in Basra, the Kurdistan Region, and Kirkuk. The report stated that these exports provided Iraq with revenues exceeding 1.087 billion dollars. The average daily export volume was over 329 thousand barrels. Basra crude oil exports exceeded 4.58 million barrels in April, while Kurdistan crude oil was exported at around 339 thousand barrels through the Ceyhan Port. Kirkuk crude oil exports were also recorded at approximately 4.95 million barrels via the Ceyhan Port. These figures demonstrate the strong performance of Iraq's oil sector despite ongoing regional disruptions in the Gulf and Middle East energy markets.
