İsmail Arı Defends Journalism in First Hearing After 75 Days
İsmail Arı stated that he defended journalism in his first hearing after 75 days and requested a criminal complaint regarding the actions taken against him.
BirGün reporter İsmail Arı made a striking defense in the courtroom during his first hearing after 75 days. Arı said, "I am here not only to defend myself but to defend journalism."
He also reminded the court that he had received an award for the news he was being tried for. With this statement, he highlighted that the case is not just about his personal file but should also be considered in terms of journalistic activity.
