Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto said the NATO summit starting tomorrow in Ankara is designed to achieve positive results.
According to the Italian ANSA agency, Crosetto stated in a video message broadcast on a television program that at the summit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8, the commitments made by each alliance member country will be fulfilled.
Crosetto said, "The NATO summit in Ankara is designed for positive results. From this perspective, I do not see greater problems than we saw at the last summit."
Turkey is hosting a NATO summit for the second time in 22 years, after the 2004 Istanbul Summit.
On the sidelines of the summit, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings with participating country leaders.
