Kalın met with Hamas delegation in Ankara
MİT President İbrahim Kalın evaluated the implementation of the ceasefire, violations, and humanitarian aid to Gaza during his meeting with the Hamas delegation in Ankara.
MİT President İbrahim Kalın held a meeting with the Hamas delegation in Ankara. During the meeting, topics related to the implementation of the ceasefire and developments on the ground were discussed. According to information from security sources, the Hamas delegation informed Kalın that they were adhering to the ceasefire rules and provided information about violations by the opposing side. The meeting also evaluated the attacks on the Gaza Strip and the fulfillment of obligations related to the first phase of the ceasefire. It was noted that Turkey's efforts to implement the ceasefire in Gaza were brought up during the meeting, and steps to prevent violations were also discussed. Additionally, humanitarian aid provided to Gaza and ongoing contacts with regional countries and international organizations to increase aid to the area were addressed. It was conveyed that the Hamas delegation thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the efforts to establish peace in Gaza and emphasized Turkey's continued contribution to the process.
