After the court's ruling of "absolute nullity" concerning CHP's 38th Congress, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, provisionally appointed as CHP Chairman, has set the date for the Party Assembly meeting.
According to information shared by television commentator Barış Yarkadaş, the Party Assembly will convene on June 11 at 1:00 PM.
It was stated that the meeting will focus on the new political process following the congress decision and topics related to party leadership.
New Agenda Following the Congress Decision
Kılıçdaroğlu's confirmation of the meeting date has brought the question of how to manage the new era created within CHP by the congress decision to the forefront.
Both the political process and leadership issues are expected to be discussed in the Party Assembly.
Previous Statements Also Pointed to the Congress
Necdet Saraç, who is on Kılıçdaroğlu's Central Executive Board (MYK) list, had previously stated that steps to reduce internal party disputes would be addressed in the first MYK meeting.
Saraç also mentioned that initiating a new dialogue process through respected figures and organizing alternative media relations were being considered.
The same statement indicated that the CHP Party Assembly was planned to meet on June 11 and that a decision regarding the congress process would be made as soon as possible.
Therefore, the June 11 meeting is seen not just as a routine gathering but as a critical milestone for the steps to be taken within the party following the congress decision.
