After the 'absolute nullity' decision in the Republican People's Party, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was re-declared as the party leader, made evaluations regarding the police raid on the party headquarters yesterday. Kılıçdaroğlu stated that deputies, Party Assembly members, and High Disciplinary Board members were not allowed into the party building, expressing that this was a first in the party's history. He mentioned that efforts for reconciliation and joint decision-making were unreciprocated, emphasizing that the emerging situation disturbed him but was not caused by them. Police teams who forcibly entered the CHP Headquarters in the morning intervened using pepper spray and plastic bullets and evacuated the building. It was reported that individuals close to Kılıçdaroğlu distributed chocolates after the police intervention. It was learned that a petition was submitted to the Ankara Provincial Police Department by a lawyer for the evacuation of the headquarters. Following the raid, the CHP administration announced that it would continue its work in its room at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Developments and the legal process regarding the incident are being followed.
