Kosovo's former President Thaçi sentenced to 25 years for war crimes
Kosovo's former President Hashim Thaçi has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for war crimes committed in the 1990s. The court in The Hague convicted him of murder, torture and unlawful detention, while prosecutors had sought up to 45 years in prison for Thaçi and the other defendants.
