MG3 has emerged as one of the notable models in the B segment in recent years. Selling 13,375 units in Italy throughout 2025, the model has demonstrated strong sales performance despite the brand's relatively short market presence.
The model's success is attributed to an aggressive pricing strategy, a sufficiently equipped trim level, and financing options appealing to a broad audience. The new campaign offered throughout June aims to make the MG3 petrol and MG3 Hybrid+ versions accessible with 35-month financing.
Separate Payment Plans for Petrol and Hybrid Versions
For the MG3 petrol Standard version, a down payment of 5,990 euros, a guaranteed future value of 8,325.50 euros, and a monthly installment of 69 euros are set. The annual interest rate (Tan) is 7.48%, and the total cost rate (Taeg) is 10.41% for this package.
For the MG3 Hybrid+ Comfort option, the down payment is 6,200 euros, the guaranteed future value is 11,175 euros, and the monthly installment is 89 euros. The Tan rate is 7.50%, and the Taeg rate is 9.83% for the hybrid version.
The campaign particularly targets buyers who want to keep the down payment around 6,000 euros. Monthly installments of 69 or 89 euros reinforce the model's key selling point of low entry cost.
Another element of the financing plan is the guaranteed future value option that replaces a large final installment at the end of 35 months. This allows users to switch to a new MG model with financing again after about three years.
Model Dimensions and Equipment Differences
The MG3 is described as a compact car measuring 411 centimeters in length, 180 centimeters in width, and 150 centimeters in height. Its 2.57-meter wheelbase and 293-liter trunk capacity increase to 983 liters when the rear seats are folded down.
The design language shaped by the brand for Europe is preserved in the MG3. Produced in China, the model reflects MG's Europe-focused style, a brand with origins tracing back to the UK.
The entry-level MG3 petrol Standard comes with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 115 horsepower and a five-speed manual transmission. This version includes halogen headlights, LED light signature, rearview camera, rear parking sensors, a 7-inch driver display, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen multimedia display.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, along with a navigation system, are also standard features. Thus, despite its price focus, the model offers essential connectivity and driving assistance for daily use.
The MG3 Hybrid+ combines the same petrol engine with an electric unit, increasing total power to 195 horsepower. The Comfort trim adds 16-inch alloy wheels, heated and electrically folding mirrors, keyless entry, a six-speaker sound system, rear wiper, and rear air vents.
