Minister Işıkhan announces 2,000 Community Benefit Program slots for flood-hit provinces
Minister Vedat Işıkhan announced that 2,000 Community Benefit Program slots had been allocated to Istanbul, Sakarya and Kocaeli, which were affected by flooding. Istanbul received 1,000 slots, while Sakarya and Kocaeli each received 500; applications will be submitted through İŞKUR.
A total of 2,000 Community Benefit Program slots were allocated to Istanbul, Sakarya and Kocaeli, which were affected by flooding.
Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that 1,000 slots had been allocated to Istanbul and 500 each to Sakarya and Kocaeli to support efforts following the floods.
Work to be carried out through İŞKUR
The program will be implemented through the Turkish Employment Agency. The work will be carried out in cooperation with governorships, district governorships and affiliated institutions.
The program aims to contribute to repairing areas damaged by the rainfall and mitigating the adverse effects of the floods.
Applications available through four channels
Applications for the Community Benefit Program can be submitted through the İŞKUR e-Branch, the İŞKUR mobile application and the Alo 170 contact line. Applications can also be made at provincial directorates of Labour and Employment.
