Minister Kacır invites space enthusiasts to a panel at IAC 2026 Public Day
Industry and Technology Minister Kacır invited space enthusiasts to a special panel as part of IAC 2026 Public Day in Antalya. The session at the NEST Congress and Fair Center is scheduled for tomorrow at 15.
IAC 2026, held in Antalya, will open its doors to the public on the final day of the congress. At the special panel held as part of Public Day, Industry and Technology Minister Kacır, T3 Foundation Board of Trustees Chair and Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar, and Anadolu Agency Chair of the Board and Director General Serdar Karagöz will discuss the space agenda.
Minister Kacır invited those interested in space to attend the panel. The session will take place tomorrow from 15:00 to 16:00 in the Opening Ceremony Area of the NEST Congress and Fair Center.
The panel will focus on space and the next generation
The special session will address the National Technology Initiative, Türkiye's deep-space vision and the future of the next generation. The panel will also assess young people's potential in the fields of space and aviation.
The congress, organized by the International Astronautical Federation, is being held under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the Turkish Space Agency and SAHA Istanbul serving as co-hosts.
The event is set to examine Türkiye's goal of independence in critical technologies, as well as the experiences and visions of figures shaping the technology ecosystem.
