Netflix Türkiye launches three-year program for new projects
Netflix Türkiye has launched a three-year program to evaluate original projects by screenwriters, directors and producers who have not previously worked on a Netflix production. Applications will be accepted from September 8 to October 6, and selected projects will be developed with Netflix support after presentations in Istanbul.
Netflix Türkiye is organizing a three-year program where professionals working in Türkiye who have not previously served as a screenwriter, director or producer on a Netflix production can present their original projects.
Participants in the program will be able to present their projects in person to a selection committee made up of Netflix Türkiye and EMEA content teams at a presentation day to be held in Istanbul this year. Following the presentations, the selected projects will move into development with Netflix support.
As part of the program, creative teams will work with Netflix experts at every stage of the project, particularly on the screenplay.
Application requirements
Professionals over the age of 18 who have worked as a screenwriter, director or producer on at least one production previously released to audiences will be eligible to participate in the program.
Candidates must submit original fiction projects in the action, thriller, character-driven drama, comedy or young adult genres. Projects must be prepared in Turkish, while presentation materials must be prepared in both Turkish and English.
Applications can be submitted online between September 8 and October 6.
