Nine-year-old Ada, treated for leukemia, laid to rest with balloons in Köşk
Nine-year-old Ada Karabela from Aydın’s Köşk district, who was being treated for leukemia, died in hospital and was laid to rest with colorful balloons tied to her coffin.

Ada Karabela, a 9-year-old from the Köşk district of western Türkiye’s Aydın province who was being treated for leukemia, has died at the hospital where she was receiving care.
Ada began her treatment at Aydın Adnan Menderes University Hospital and was transferred to a hospital in Ankara about three months ago to continue it.
Her body was brought back to Köşk, where her funeral prayer was held at the Yeni Mosque in the Serdaroğlu neighborhood, attended by her family, relatives and loved ones. Colorful balloons were tied to her coffin, and she was buried at Baklaköy Cemetery.
