Pezeshkian: We will force the US to adhere to the ceasefire deal
In a post on X, Iranian President Pezeshkian said the ceasefire agreement will be the centerpiece of foreign policy and they will force Washington to comply, asserting the June deal has been violated by the US.
Iranian President Pezeshkian commented on the signed ceasefire agreement in a post on X.
Pezeshkian said: "The signed agreement is the product of the collective wisdom of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) members, and all members are unanimous on this matter."
"I believe this agreement will become the focal point of our foreign relations in the future. We must strive to force the enemy to abide by what it signed," Pezeshkian added, saying the deal will enhance the security of the country, the region and Iran's allies.
Iran has criticized the ceasefire agreement signed in June under Pakistani and Qatari mediation, arguing that the US has breached it repeatedly.
