Police and fire crews lend a helping hand to YKS candidates
Candidates for the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) in various provinces who were in difficult situations due to forgotten IDs, wrong schools, and traffic congestion were brought to exam halls with the intervention of police and fire crews.
While the excitement of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) continues across the country, some candidates needed the help of police and firefighters to take the exam.
Wrong school panic in Batman
Two sisters in Batman, who realized the school they went to for the exam was wrong, were taken to the correct address with the help of a police team.
Address confusion in Düzce
A candidate in Düzce who took the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) at Mevlana Girls' Vocational High School went to the same address in the morning, thinking the Field Proficiency Tests (AYT) session would also be held at the same school. The candidate, who realized the situation in the schoolyard, was rushed to the exam by police.
Forgotten ID in Bursa
Seda Ersöz, residing in Yenişehir district of Bursa, applied for YKS to support her son Emir Batın Ersöz and took the AYT at the same school yesterday. In İnegöl district, Yasemin T. panicked when she realized she had left her ID at home. Traffic police in the area helped the candidate.
Trapped in an elevator in Adıyaman
Muhammed Furkan Özbek, who was trapped in an elevator in Kahta district of Adıyaman, was rescued by fire crews and taken to the exam by fire truck.
