Police detain 13 suspects in operation targeting Ataşehir Municipality
Thirteen suspects were detained in a simultaneous operation carried out in the morning targeting Ataşehir Municipality as part of an investigation led by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation is examining allegations that bribes were demanded from construction companies in exchange for occupancy and zoning permits and that zoning changes were approved in return for benefits.
