President Erdoğan accepts Republic Day greetings at Presidential Complex
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan accepted Republic Day greetings from state officials, foreign mission chiefs and Olympic medal-winning national athletes at the Presidential Complex as part of celebrations marking the 103rd anniversary of the Republic.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan accepted greetings at the Presidential Complex as part of celebrations marking the 103rd anniversary of the Republic on 29 October Republic Day.
State officials offer Republic Day greetings
At the ceremony, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş, President of the Constitutional Court Kadir Özkaya, President of the Court of Cassation Ömer Kerkez, President of the Council of State Zeki Yiğit, President of the Court of Accounts Metin Yener and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli offered Republic Day greetings to President Erdoğan.
Members of the Presidential Cabinet, Chief of the General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu and the service commanders, AK Party TBMM Group Chair Abdullah Güler, members of the TBMM, Presidential Secretary-General Hakkı Susmaz, Director of Communications Burhanettin Duran, MİT Director İbrahim Kalın, President of the Defence Industry Agency Haluk Görgün, Ankara Governor Yakup Canbolat and Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş also attended the ceremony.
Ambassadors and national athletes also offer greetings
Heads of public institutions, ambassadors serving in Ankara, foreign mission chiefs and representatives of international organisations also offered greetings to President Erdoğan.
Military personnel of various ranks serving in the capital, relatives of heroes of the War of Independence and national athletes who won medals in various disciplines at the Olympics also conveyed their greetings to President Erdoğan.
President Erdoğan had attended a ceremony held at Anıtkabir earlier in the day. In his Republic Day message, Erdoğan said, "Together, we will carry the Republic of Türkiye into much brighter tomorrows."
