President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated in his Eid al-Adha message that Israel continues occupation, destruction, massacres, and illegal settlement activities in Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Lebanon despite the ceasefires. Erdoğan expressed that the effects of the war with Iran are felt worldwide in energy, agriculture, trade, transportation, economy, and security sectors. Despite the crises in the region, Turkey stands out as an island of stability with its strong economy, qualified human resources, and solid internal structure. Highlighting the developments in the defense industry over the last 23 years, Erdoğan said that defense and aviation exports have increased from 248 million dollars to 10 billion dollars, and Turkey has written one of the rare success stories in this field. He predicted that when regional instability ends, Turkey will be one of the shining stars of the new era. Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey has taken all necessary steps to establish peace, contributed to resolving the Iran-US conflict with mediation proposals, and continues dialogue efforts between Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Palestine. This message reveals Turkey's goal to play an active role in achieving regional peace and its criticism of Israel's destabilizing actions in the region.
