REMOVED RAILINGS TO BE REINSTALLEDDuring the restoration works, detailed examinations were conducted on some balcony railings and related architectural elements of Haydarpaşa Station. These parts, exposed for many years to salt, humidity, and weather conditions from the sea, showed wear, cracks, and material loss.
Therefore, these railings were removed and taken to a workshop environment for healthier and controlled repairs. Cleaning, maintenance, conservation, and necessary repair works are ongoing there. Once completed, the railings will be reinstalled preserving their original form and historical features.
Missing or damaged parts will be completed in harmony with the original materials and architectural character of the building. All applications are carried out according to projects approved by the Conservation Board and under the supervision of expert teams. The goal is to preserve the historical texture of Haydarpaşa Station and pass it on to future generations intact.
