Several Roads in Istanbul to Be Closed Tomorrow Due to Event

Some roads in Istanbul will be closed to traffic from 9:00 AM until the end of the program tomorrow due to an event taking place in the city.

The Istanbul Police Department announced the routes to be closed, covering three districts. Accordingly, Reşadiye, Ragıp Gümüşpala, Abdülezelpaşa, Mürselpaşa, Ayvansaray, Kadir Has, Meclis-i Mebusan, Kemeraltı, Dolmabahçe, Beşiktaş, Eski Yıldız, Çırağan, and Tersane streets will be closed.

The section of Sahil Kennedy Street between Çatladıkapı and Sirkeci traffic lights will also be closed to vehicle passage during the program. The road from Refik Saydam Street towards Unkapanı, as well as the route between İnönü Street and Şehitler Tepesi, are also among the closed points.

Barbaros Boulevard and Galata Bridge are also on the list of roads to be closed to traffic. Therefore, there will be a significant need for driver guidance in the city center starting from the morning hours.

Authorities have informed that as alternatives, Vatan, Millet, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Paşa, Palanga, Asariye, Portakal Yokuşu, Dereboyu, Asker Ocağı, İnönü, and Evliya Çelebi streets, as well as Tarlabaşı Boulevard and Unkapanı Bridge, can be used.
