After reading the literary magazine “Kıvılcım” prepared by students at Mustafa Özkan Anatolian High School in Kayseri’s İncesu district, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez sent the school a signed letter of thanks.
Teachers and students mailed Sánchez a copy of the magazine in June 2026. The publication featured poems, articles and various literary works. The students also invited the Spanish prime minister to visit their school.
Signed reply from Sánchez
In his letter, Sánchez said that he had read the magazine with great interest. The Spanish prime minister said he would be unable to visit the school because of his busy work schedule and calendar.
School Principal Fatih Şahin said the students followed Sánchez in the media and decided to send him the magazine. Şahin said the students were very pleased that the prime minister had read the magazine and sent a letter.

“Kıvılcım” magazine reflects the school’s activities
Şahin said the school organized activities aimed at broadening the students’ horizons and published the magazine as part of these efforts. Alongside poems, the magazine includes articles about the school, essays and other articles.
Şahin also highlighted Sánchez’s support for the Palestinian cause and said the students were pleased with this stance.
The school administration created a special display for the letter sent by Sánchez. Visitors to the school can see the politician’s signed letter in this section.
