Türkiye Diyanet Foundation supported 8,065 students in 2025-2026
Türkiye Diyanet Foundation provided educational support to 8,065 students through domestic and international programs during the 2025-2026 academic year. Of these students, 4,308 benefited from domestic scholarship programs, while 3,757 benefited from international scholarship programs.
Türkiye Diyanet Foundation provided support to 8,065 students in Türkiye and abroad through its scholarship, education and cultural programs during the 2025-2026 academic year.
Of these students, 4,308 benefited from domestic programs, while 3,757 benefited from international programs. A total of 22 different scholarship and support programs and projects are being carried out under the Diyanet Scholarships initiative.
Scholarship and accommodation support for students in Türkiye
Under its domestic scholarship and support programs, the foundation provided 4,308 students with scholarships, free accommodation and transportation support during the 2025-2026 academic year.
The foundation conducts activities for scholarship students in 57 provinces across Türkiye. With a staff of 53 academic coordinators and 389 educators, it contributes to the students’ academic, personal, professional and social development. The number of students who have graduated from the domestic scholarship and support programs reached 5,512.
Students from 114 countries study in Türkiye
As part of its international scholarship and support programs, high school, undergraduate and graduate students from 114 countries are studying in Türkiye. A total of 3,757 students benefited from these programs during the 2025-2026 academic year, while the number of students who have completed the programs to date reached 11,552.
Scholarship support is also being provided to 535 students studying in 49 provinces under the Palestine Support Projects. The total number of graduates from the domestic and international scholarship and support programs reached 17,064.
Services for students through dormitories and educational institutions
As part of its other educational services, the foundation operates 48 student dormitories in 30 provinces and 118 student residences in 22 provinces. It also has six Provincial Educational Services Coordination Offices in five provinces.
İstanbul 29 Mayıs University and 29 Mayıs Educational Institutions, which include a kindergarten and a college, are also part of the foundation’s educational activities. Türkiye Diyanet Foundation cooperates with institutions such as the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of National Education on scholarship, education and cultural programs.
