Strong Rain Warning from Meteorology: Showers Will Be Effective in Many Regions

According to the latest evaluations by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country will be partly cloudy and mostly cloudy. Intermittent showers and thunderstorms will prevail. Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the Aegean, Western Mediterranean, inner parts of Western and Central Black Sea, northern and western parts of Central Anatolia, inner parts of Eastern Mediterranean, southwestern Eastern Anatolia, northern Southeastern Anatolia, as well as south of Bursa, and around Bilecik, Muş, Bitlis, Van, Şırnak, and Siirt. Air temperatures are predicted to be around seasonal norms on the western coasts of the country, and 2-4 degrees below normal in other regions. Citizens are advised to be cautious against floods and waterlogging.
