Some Afghan citizens living in Berlin organized a protest march to support women and the people in Afghanistan. Participants said their goal was to raise the voices of Afghan women and the people to the international community. Slogans such as "Bread, work, freedom," "No to the Taliban," and "No to gender apartheid" were chanted at the demonstration. Participants demanded that fundamental rights, freedom, and human dignity be guaranteed for women and the Afghan people. Activists especially emphasized the protection of women's rights, the right to education, the right to work, and civil liberties. A call was also made to the international community not to remain silent about the current situation in Afghanistan. The Taliban administration in Afghanistan imposes severe restrictions, especially on women and girls. Women and girls are deprived of the right to education and work. Despite international criticism in recent years, these restrictions have reportedly tightened further. The march in Berlin stood out as a message of solidarity against these pressures.
