Trabzonspor puts Mohamed Salah-inspired pharaoh headdress on sale
Trabzonspor has put a maroon-and-blue pharaoh headdress inspired by Egyptian star Mohamed Salah’s nickname, “Pharaoh of Egypt,” on sale for 1,699.99 Turkish liras.
Trabzonspor has put a pharaoh headdress designed in inspiration from Egyptian star Mohamed Salah’s nickname, “Pharaoh of Egypt,” on sale at TS Club stores and the club’s official online store. The product is priced at 1,699.99 Turkish liras.
Inspired by the nemes headdress worn by the pharaohs of ancient Egypt, the product features maroon-and-blue stripes and panels extending from both sides of the head to the shoulders. The Trabzonspor crest appears on the front. The product is available in two sizes: S/M and M/L.
Pharaoh-themed airport welcome remains memorable
The pharaoh theme had drawn attention when footage showed a fan performing kolbastı at the airport in a pharaoh costume during Salah’s arrival in Trabzon. Salah, who has delivered an effective performance in the maroon-and-blue jersey this season, ended Trabzonspor’s 13-year wait for a penalty goal in European competitions by scoring from the spot in the 2-0 Conference League victory over Hearts.
