Turkish Airlines won the Europe’s Best Airline award for the 11th time at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards. The awards were presented at a ceremony held in London on September 18.
Turkish Airlines also won the World’s Best Business Class Catering award for the 10th time and the Best Airline in Southern Europe award for the 13th time.
The company received five different awards across the Europe and Southern Europe categories for its economy and business classes, leaving the ceremony with a total of eight awards. Turkish Airlines also climbed to fifth place in Skytrax’s ranking of the world’s best airlines.
Şeker: A source of great pride
Prof. Dr. Murat Şeker, chairman of the Turkish Airlines Board and Executive Committee, said that receiving the Europe’s Best Airline title for the 11th time and ranking first in the other two categories was a source of great pride for the Turkish Airlines family.
Şeker said the results demonstrated the international recognition of the standards in the travel experience offered to passengers, from service quality to the approach to catering. He added that the awards were especially important to them because they were based on passenger evaluations.
Şeker said Turkish Airlines brings passengers from different parts of the world together with Turkish hospitality, and thanked the employees who contributed to the success and the passengers who place their trust in the airline. He said the company would continue to represent Türkiye in the skies and remain one of the brands shaping the future of global aviation.
