The future of economic and trade relations between Türkiye and the United States was discussed at a TABA-AmCham gathering in Istanbul. The program, attended by business representatives and experts, examined new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, particularly in investment, finance, foreign trade, security and the defense industry.
Türkiye-US relations on the business agenda
The program titled “360° Perspective: Türkiye After the NATO Summit – Security, Finance, Investment and Türkiye-US Relations,” organized by the Turkish American Business Association (TABA-AmCham), was held in Sarıyer, Istanbul.
The event addressed the economic, technological and investment opportunities created for Türkiye by the changing global balances following the NATO Summit. The impact of Türkiye-US relations on the business community was also among the program’s key topics.
A broad agenda from defense to finance
The panel examined Türkiye’s position in the new security architecture, its defense policies and defense industry, as well as financial developments, the investment climate and foreign trade.
The program highlighted the increasingly close links between security and the economy, while emphasizing the importance of Türkiye’s strategic position in terms of new trade and investment opportunities.

New Turkish-American partnerships targeted
Developing connections between Turkish and American companies was another key topic of the gathering. Business representatives and investors had the opportunity to establish new contacts and assess potential partnerships during networking meetings.
A cooperation ceremony between TABA-AmCham and member organizations was also held as part of the program.
New avenues for trade and investment relations
TABA-AmCham’s core objectives include developing commercial activity between Türkiye and the United States, increasing communication between Turkish and American business communities, and supporting partnerships between companies from the two countries.
The latest gathering in Istanbul also demonstrated that business contacts aimed at advancing Türkiye-US relations continue not only in the areas of diplomacy and security, but also across investment, finance, technology, defense and foreign trade.
