The 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye was celebrated with music in London. The Yunus Emre Institute in London, in cooperation with Türkiye’s Consulate General in London, organized the "Turkish & British Friendship Concert".
Flutists Leyla Bayramoğulları and Katrina Penman performed at the concert, held on Monday evening, October 26, at the institute’s London headquarters.

Two flutists share the stage
Bringing the two artists together on the same stage, the concert was dedicated to Turkish-British friendship, as its name suggests. Representatives of the Consulate General and guests attended the concert, and flowers were presented to the artists at the end.

The Yunus Emre Institute organizes concerts, exhibitions, courses and other events at its cultural centers in many countries around the world to promote Turkish culture and the Turkish language abroad.
