Turkish motorcycle racers to compete in Indonesia and Portugal this weekend
Deniz Öncü will compete in the 17th round of the World Moto2 Championship at Indonesia’s Mandalika Circuit from October 9 to 11.
Turkish motorcycle racers will take to the track in Indonesia and Portugal from October 9 to 11 in the World Moto2 and World Supersport championships.
The 17th round of the World Moto2 Championship will be held at Indonesia’s Mandalika Circuit. Deniz Öncü will take part in free practice with the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team on the first day of the event.
Öncü will aim to set the fastest time in qualifying on Saturday, October 10. The 22-lap main race at Mandalika Circuit will begin at 8:15 a.m. Türkiye time on Sunday, October 11.
Can Öncü and Bahattin Sofuoğlu to compete in Portugal
The 11th round of the World Supersport Championship will be held at Portugal’s Estoril Circuit. Can Öncü and Bahattin Sofuoğlu will compete in the event from October 9 to 11.
The superpole session will be held on the same day after free practice. The weekend’s first 18-lap race will begin at 4 p.m. Türkiye time on Saturday, October 10, while the second race will start at the same time on Sunday, October 11.
