Emphasis on continuity in relations
At the high-level political level of Türkiye-Gambia relations, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's official visit to The Gambia on January 27, 2020, stands out. The visit is considered one of the turning points in the period when political contacts between the two countries grew stronger.
