Türkiye’s embassy in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, enthusiastically celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye with a reception held on October 29.
Turkish citizens, members of the diplomatic corps and Vietnamese friends attended the reception.

Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms commemorated
The embassy said the Republic’s founder, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and his comrades-in-arms were commemorated with respect and gratitude during the celebration. A portrait of Atatürk was also displayed on one of the panels in the reception hall.
Flags of Türkiye and Vietnam stood on either side of the podium at the celebration. Guests posed for a group photograph in front of a panel prepared for the Republic’s 103rd anniversary. The embassy concluded its message about the celebration with the words, “Long live our Republic!”
