Türkiye's Embassy in Madrid announced the new date for the reception it will hold to mark the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic. In an announcement signed by Ambassador Nüket Küçükel Ezberci, the embassy said the reception, postponed because of a tragic train accident and loss of life in Spain, will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 13, at Madrid's Royal Tapestry Factory (Real Fábrica de Tapices).
The announcement said the invitation had also been shared on social media to reach all citizens residing in Spain whose contact details are not held in the embassy's records. Attendees were asked to notify the embassy of their participation by no later than 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, to facilitate logistical arrangements.
