Ukrainian Army Reports 223 Clashes in the Last 24 Hours
The Ukrainian General Staff announced that a total of 223 clashes were recorded on the front line on June 6. The most intense attacks occurred in the directions of Pokrovsk, Gulyaypole, and Konstantinovka.
The Ukrainian General Staff reported that 223 clashes took place along the front line throughout June 6. According to the statement, the heaviest pressure continued on the eastern and southern fronts.
Where were the most intense clashes?
On the eastern front, four clashes were recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions. In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, Russian forces reportedly attacked Ukrainian positions five times near Staritsa, Liman, Vovchansk, and Okhrimivka.
Three attacks were repelled in the Kupyansk direction. These attacks took place around Novoplatonivka, Pishchane, and Kupyansk.
In the Liman direction, Ukrainian units pushed back attempts to advance near Novoselivka, Druhelubivka, Ozerne, Stavky, and Drobysheve. In the Slovyansk direction, eight attacks were stopped around Ray-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Zakytne.
Pressure increased along the Kostyantynivka and Pokrovsk line
An attack near Chasiv Yar in the Kramatorsk direction was prevented. In the Kostyantynivka direction, 17 attacks were reported around Kostyantynivka, Ivanopillya, Pleshchiyivka, Rusyniv Yar, and Illinivka.
Pokrovsk was one of the regions with the most intense clashes. The Ukrainian army announced that it repelled 46 attacks around Torkeche, Sofiyivka, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Matysheve, Vasylivka, Dorozhne, Vilne, Novo Donbas, Zapovidne, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Serhiyivka, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, and Udachne.
Attacks continued on the southern front
In the Oleksandrivka direction, ten attacks were recorded around Vorone, Oleksandrohrad, Voskresenka, Sichneve, Hrushivske, Verbove, and Ternove. In the Gulyaypole direction, 28 attacks occurred near Dobropillya, Vozdvyzhivka, Zaliznychne, Olenokostyantynivka, Staroukrayinka, Gulyaypole, Rybne, Pryluky, Rizdviyanka, Verkhnya Tersa, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces attempted to breach defenses three times near Shcherbaky, while two clashes occurred around the Antonivka Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island on the Dnipro line.
The statement also noted that Ukrainian defense forces neutralized 1,350 Russian soldiers and 82 artillery systems in the last 24 hours.
