The protocol for the Van Stadium and Life Complex Project was signed with the participation of Youth and Sports Minister Bak. Following President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's approval, the signing ceremony was attended by Van Governor Ozan Balcı, AK Party Van MPs Burhan Kayatürk and Kayhan Türkmenoğlu, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Mehmet Tosun, and ministry bureaucrats.

The tender for the project is planned for August. The construction process of the stadium, designed with a seating capacity of approximately 15,000, will be carried out by the Van Governorate's Investment Monitoring and Coordination Directorate.
The complex, which will serve with a covered parking lot for 1,500 vehicles, will offer comfort to city residents not only on match days but also in daily life. Its lower sections will house shops, cafes, restaurants and social areas. In this way, the stadium is intended to contribute to city life even when there are no matches.
The training halls and sports areas within the complex will allow citizens of all ages, from children to adults, to lead a life intertwined with sports. Additionally, two office towers will be built next to the stadium. An open street concept created between the office blocks, supported by cafes, restaurants and commercial enterprises, will form a vibrant living space.
