Vedat Muric says returning to Fenerbahce is a great pride for him
Kosovar forward Vedat Muric stated in an interview on FB TV that he feels the happiness of wearing the Fenerbahce jersey once again and described his family's great joy during the transfer process.
Fenerbahce's Kosovar striker Vedat Muric said in an interview on the club's television channel FB TV that returning to the yellow-navy colors is an indescribable source of pride for him.
Thanking those who contributed to the transfer, Muric said, "I am very happy. Being here is an honor. I knew I missed this place, but I now understand how much I missed it. They gave me another opportunity at this great club."
The experienced player stated that the contacts that started in January concluded quickly, and said the process began when former basketball player Mirsad Turkcan and Oguz Cetin called him, and they reached an agreement without further delay.
Emphasizing that his wife is also a huge Fenerbahce fan, Muric said, "When I told my dear wife, she was very happy too. She immediately said 'Okay,' and even started looking into where we would stay. We were all very happy as a family."
The 29-year-old forward praised head coach Ismail Kartal, stating, "I know that no other coach has achieved the points record Ismail Hoca has reached recently. Under his leadership, we will win the championship this year," pointing to the goal.
Muric added that he feels as if he never left Fenerbahce, that he misses the Kadikoy atmosphere, and that he will do his best for the championship with the support of the fans.
