Woman's body found in sea off Beşiktaş Pier
The motionless person spotted by ferry passengers off Beşiktaş Pier was brought ashore by Coast Guard and police teams. The body of the woman, who was determined to be deceased, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute.
Ferry passengers who saw a motionless person in the sea off Beşiktaş Pier around 1:00 p.m. reported the situation to the police.
Upon the report, Coast Guard and Marine Police teams were dispatched to the area. The teams brought the person in the sea to the pier.
Medical teams determined that the person had lost their life. The examination revealed that the body belonged to a 36-year-old woman named C. T.
The body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
