Yellow Vest protesters took to the streets again in Paris, Lyon, Rennes, Marseille and Toulouse, particularly in Paris, to protest the rising cost of living. Trade unions and students also supported the demonstrations, where the government's education and economic policies were protested.
In Paris, demonstrators marched from Porte de Bagnolet to Porte de Charenton, chanting, "We want a general strike" and "The streets are ours." Students who gathered near Place de la Bastille despite the ban also marched through the city's streets.

At Porte de Charenton, where the march ended in Paris, police used tear gas against the crowd. In Rennes, police used tear gas and batons against demonstrators, while in Toulouse they used water cannon and tear gas. In Marseille, masked groups threw stones and glass bottles at police, while in Lyon, protesters threw various objects at police.
