11 test positive in celebrity drug investigation
Results have emerged from tests sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute in the drug investigation targeting celebrities conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. While 11 individuals, including İlyas Yalçıntaş, Asude Mercan and Ayşenur Balcı, tested positive, only an active pharmaceutical ingredient was detected in singer Sıla's samples.
A significant phase has been reached in the drug investigation targeting celebrities conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Test results from samples sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute have emerged. The drug tests of 11 suspects came back positive.
Among those who tested positive are singer İlyas Yalçıntaş, model Ayşenur Balcı, actress Asude Mercan, along with Akın Altan, Buğra Balkaya, Büşra Tata, Cenk Çöteli, Emre Avar, Hilal Zeynep Hedbe, Orhan Yıldız and Şefik Ömer Dolman.
Cannabis substance in İlyas Yalçıntaş's tests
The examination determined that the active ingredient of cannabis, THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), was found in Yalçıntaş's blood, urine and hair samples. The arrested singer had argued that he used the precision scale seized at his home as part of a 'sports diet,' and claimed that the substances in the jars were thyme sent by his mother from the village.

Cocaine was detected in the urine and hair samples of Ayşenur Balcı, who is in prison as part of the investigation.
Pharmaceutical ingredient in Sıla
While no illicit drugs were found in the blood, urine and hair samples of singer Sıla Gençoğlu, traces of the active pharmaceutical ingredient Bromazepam were detected.
Earlier in the operation, 25 suspects had been taken into custody, and four of them, including İlyas Yalçıntaş, were arrested.
