2027 budget proposal allocates TRY 30 billion to martyrs’ families and veterans

Under the distribution of the central government budget by program, TRY 4 trillion 530 billion 105 million 298 thousand is planned to be allocated for the management of treasury assets and liabilities.

Leading programs in the budget

The social security program ranked second in the allocation of appropriations, with TRY 2 trillion 887 billion 445 million 846 thousand. TRY 2 trillion 386 billion 863 million 121 thousand is planned to be allocated to the program for strengthening local governments.

TRY 2 trillion 180 billion 183 million 814 thousand is planned to be allocated to the national defense and security program, while TRY 1 trillion 539 billion 469 million 928 thousand is planned for the curative healthcare program.

Appropriations for R&D and space programs

An appropriation of TRY 125 billion 949 million 860 thousand is envisaged for 2027 under the research, development and innovation program. The budget allocation for the space and aviation program was set at TRY 24 billion 587 million 454 thousand.

Programs for children and women

TRY 76 billion 539 million 734 thousand is planned to be allocated to the program for protecting children and ensuring their development. The appropriation envisaged for the program for women’s empowerment was TRY 11 billion 61 million 59 thousand.
