The Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that 4,973 events were held nationwide within the scope of National Family Week. The week was declared by the Presidential Circular. According to the ministry's statement, the events started with opening programs held in 81 provinces. Different studies focusing on the family were highlighted in the programs. Throughout the week, public service announcements, social media campaigns, outdoor visibility activities, and training activities were carried out. Family visits were also among the events. It was stated that the events were planned to draw attention to the family structure and to raise awareness for different age groups. The ministry spread the activities across the country. The statement also included activities related to nursing homes, children's homes, and foster family services. Thus, it was conveyed that the events within the scope of the week included not only information but also the social service dimension.
