A fire on a moving IETT bus in Ataşehir has been extinguished.
A fire broke out for an unknown reason on a moving IETT bus in Kayışdağı Mahallesi. Fire crews extinguished the blaze, but the bus sustained damage.
A fire broke out on a moving IETT bus in Ataşehir, Istanbul. The incident occurred on Ayazoğlu Street in Kayışdağı Mahallesi, where flames rose from the engine compartment of the bus with license plate 34 TP 3628.
Upon notification, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Thanks to the rapid intervention of fire crews, the fire was brought under control and extinguished in a short time. The bus sustained material damage as a result of the fire.
After the fire, IETT roadside assistance teams covered the damaged bus with a tarpaulin and began work to remove it from the scene. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
