AileFest at Rami Library drew 825,000 visitors
AileFest, launched by the Türkiye Volunteer Organizations Foundation at Rami Library on September 26, has ended. In addition to workshops and activities for children, the festival featured a book fair, talks, book-signing events, performances and concerts.
AileFest, organized by the Türkiye Volunteer Organizations Foundation, has ended after opening its doors at Rami Library on September 26. A total of 825,000 people visited the festival.
Supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Istanbul Governorship, the festival was held under the theme “Strong Family–Strong Generations–Strong Türkiye.”
Activities organized for children
Special sections were created for children aged 0–3, 3–6 and 7–12. These areas hosted workshops, sports and cultural activities, interactive experiences, traditional arts, family competitions and stage performances.
Book fair and talks
The Family and Children's Book Fair also met readers as part of the festival. Academics, authors and experts met with visitors during talks and book-signing events.
Concerts and performances
Oğuzhan Koç, Yaşar, Ekin Uzunlar, İncesaz, Kubat, Kıraç, Cengiz Özkan, Ümit Sayın, Ferda Anıl Yarkın, and Metin and Eda Özülkü performed in concerts at the event.
The “Families Compete” program was hosted by Asuman Krause. The festival also featured performances by “Rafadan Tayfa.”
