Ali Türkkan won the 2026 Junior World Rally Championship. The Turkish driver became the first person in Türkiye’s motorsport history to win the title.
The championship’s fifth and final round was held in Chile. Competing for the Castrol Ford Türkiye team, Türkkan finished the final rally in second place to take the top spot in the drivers’ standings.

Türkkan began the final day with a 21.9-second lead and drove cautiously. Despite finishing second in the final stage, he secured the championship through the cumulative points system used throughout the season.
